We’ll kick things off with a crash course in mixology, then put your creativity to the test in a mystery ingredient challenge. The best part? No one gets eliminated! Instead, you’ll work in teams, battle it out round by round, and vote for the ultimate cocktail champion.

And, of course, there will be drinks, games, trivia, and prizes along the way. Because what’s a competition without a little fun.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

The Cocktail Competition You Didn’t Know You Needed

  • We’ll start things off the right way—with a complimentary welcome cocktail. While we wait for everyone to arrive, sip, mingle, and get ready for an experience like no other.

  • Before we throw you into the fire (or the shaker), we’ll start with a hands-on cocktail class that teaches you how to build a balanced, show-stopping drink.

    • The Art of Balance – Master sweet, sour, bitter, and spirit-forward flavors.

    • Essential Techniques – Shaking vs. stirring, muddling, layering, garnishing.

    • Classic Cocktail Demo – Watch as our expert bartenders craft a signature drink (think Old Fashioned, Margarita, or something seasonal).

    • Mini Practice Round – Try it yourself! Follow step-by-step instructions to mix a cocktail and get a feel for the techniques.

  • Now, the real fun begins. Your team will receive a mystery basket filled with unique ingredients, including one curveball that’ll challenge your creativity. You’ll have limited time to craft a winning cocktail and impress the crowd.

    Round 1: Muddle & Mix—A Twist on the Basics (20 min)

    • Each team gets 3-4 mystery ingredients (including a wildcard like jalapeños, tea, or marshmallow syrup).

    • You have 15 minutes to craft a balanced, delicious cocktail.

    • Teams sample each other's drinks, and judges provide feedback.

    Round 2: Shaken, Not Stirred—Enhancing Technique (20-30 min)

    • New mystery basket, new challenge.

    • This round focuses on refining your technique—maybe it’s layering, infusions, smoked cocktails, or an advanced garnish.

    • Teams level up their presentation, and the tasting continues.

    Final Round: Last Call—The Signature Cocktail Challenge (20-30 min)

    • Time to pull out all the stops.

    • Teams create a signature cocktail based on a theme (Tropical, Dessert-Inspired, Classic Twist).

    • You can choose from a stocked bar but must include a wildcard ingredient chosen by the judges.

    • Every team ranks the other teams' cocktails from most to least favorite. (No voting for yourself!)

    • The team with the most votes wins the grand prize—could be a mini mixology kit, a bottle of their favorite spirit, or eternal bragging rights.

    • But don’t worry—everyone gets to enjoy the drinks, play games, and have a blast.
